Carmilla

You want something short, strange, and considerably older than you expected.

Published in 1872, twenty six years before Dracula. A young woman in an isolated schloss receives a guest who is beautiful, evasive, and increasingly insistent. Nothing explicit happens in a hundred and thirty pages and it is one of the most charged books in the coven.

You will finish it on a Sunday and think about it on Wednesday.
